By accessing or using the IkoPurrty platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. IkoPurrty is a ticketing platform designed for event organizers ("Organizers") to list events and for attendees ("Fans") to discover and purchase tickets.

2. Description of Service

IkoPurrty provides a technology platform that facilitates the sale of tickets for events. We are not the event organizer, promoter, or venue owner. We act as an intermediary, providing tools for ticket distribution, payment processing (including M-Pesa integration), and attendee management.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

4. Ticket Purchases and Payments

  • Pricing: Ticket prices are set by the Organizers and are subject to applicable taxes and service fees.
  • M-Pesa Payments: We utilize M-Pesa for secure and convenient transactions. You must ensure you have sufficient funds and authorize the transaction via your mobile device.
  • Final Sale: Unless otherwise stated by the Organizer or required by law, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
  • Delivery: Digital tickets will be delivered to your registered email address or account upon successful payment confirmation.

5. Event Cancellations and Changes

Organizers are solely responsible for the conduct of their events. In the event of a cancellation, postponement, or significant change, IkoPurrty will work with the Organizer to communicate the status and potential refund options to Fans. However, IkoPurrty is not liable for any losses incurred due to such changes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Resell tickets at a premium without explicit authorization.
  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal activity.
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the platform.
  • Bypass any automated systems or ticketing limits.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IkoPurrty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or any events attended through the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on our site and updating the "Last Updated" date.
